Finnish-Russian Network of Vocational Colleges

Finnish-Russian Network of Vocational Colleges educates and trains for working life professionals with extra knowledge of Russian language and culture. It offers students and personnel of the participating colleges information on Russia as a working environment and possibility for co-operation with Russian colleges and companies.

The Finnish-Russian Network of Vocational Colleges aims to
- Increase students’ and personnel’s interest to Russian language and culture
- Educate and train for working life professionals with extra knowledge of Russian language and culture
- Increase Finnish students’ workplacement and personnel’s job-shadowing periods in Russia
The Finnish-Russian network was started in 2001. Annually it send some 50 students for training period and 30 students for workplacement period to Russia. Some 30 teachers carries out a job-shadowing period in Russia and some 40 persons takes part in competitions.
